Hi all.
I have a Maestro rotting on the drive if anyone is interested. I bought the car after I became redundant from MGRover and happily used it for a year. It is an H reg 2.0 EFI, very quick and rides lovely as it has a "comfort" suspension on it. I always wanted to get it back to good condition, but now have my own business and don't have the time. I would hate it to go for scrap as it has an interesting history. I bought it from Andy Smith, a world renowned Chassis Engineer. I used to work for him when he led the Chassis development team and this car was often used in "ride and drive" assessments against the competition. It was even used as late as 2002 because of its abilities!
So if there is someone out there who is interested please let me know. I am in the Midlands, Droitwich and can be contacted on 07789785839 or bournepete@yahoo.co.uk
Thanks for reading this
Pete

Sadly, I can't even add a free car to my collection. Do you have any pics/further info though? Sounds like a car worth saving.

I will take some pics tomorrow. It is in a sorry state, rust has taken over. The sills were done a few years back, but the rear wings have gone, I have plenty of spares to go with it.
