The track car is coming along nicely, powered by a twin carb 8v turbo :)

I like, really like, take notice Graham how to modify a maestro, (although don’t try this on your new one) although am sure a lot of people wont be to keen on it I sure am. More pictures please. :)

I like the off-set air scoop positioned nicely above those twin carbs. :cool:

Andy more pics at the wekend

Mike the scope has 2 functions

1: Carb cooling as no carb cooling fans are fitted
2: To help clear the top of the dash pots previously a few large dent where hammered into the underside of the bonnet :)

Interesting - is it the left carb nearest to the header tank that touches the bonnet? Presuming your carbs have retained the same mounting angle as the original single carb? If this is the case I will have to do a re-think with my set up.

BTW - nice to know someone is out there to confer notes with.

Mike the carbs are about 1.5-2" higher than normal so both hit, the plus is they are further away from the turbo, raising the back of the bonnet is not a problem for me as its a race car

I'll try to get some better pics once the engine is back in
