Monty007 it is a good idea, for getting more people involved in chatting on the internet about Maestro and Montegos.

Steve whilst you may dislike it, it is prudent to keep that fact to yourself as it deters other people from using it.

The problem with messenger is people who are interested in Maestro/Montegos can only chat to people of similiat interests if they have choosen to disclose there ID's. Which is not always the case.

I think it's a great idea. I do have MSN, but I find myself reluctant to give my ID out to many people. I'm annoyed with myself for spending so much time on the net as it is, and there are one or two people who have my ID who make constant demands on my time.

I don't mind chatting now and again, but it annoys me when people (no-one on this site I regularly chat to, so don't get paranoid!) expect me to be there to chat to every day and every night!

I'm trying to cut down the amount of time I spend chatting, and get into the habit of doing something useful with my time, especially at work!

To have a chat room where we could all talk without giving out IDs is a great idea! Maybe it would be a good idea to organise a scheduled chat session each week?

I know of other Groups who have organised a regular 'Chat Night' and have found it a great success. Perhaps we should arrange one for the club and see how it takes off?
