:) hello fonnd this site on saturday so thought i d pay a visit to the forum , got my Meastro in autumm o4 , i only had my v8 van at the time and needed a cheap run around ,( £150 on E BAY ) i ve slowley been doing my car up to keep her tidy in between working on my van. l now need to do bottom of the n/s/f door and need a o/s/r door handle then she ll look very clean .She s a a plastic bumper one and looks great with her new reg EL 67. l am near Leicester / Lutterworth any one else

Hi, welcome to the Forum. What model is your Maestro? It would be good if you tell us more about it, but from what you say it sounds like it could be a nice example, especially if you are working at keeping it that way!

thanks for the warm welcome , my old smoker is a 20 ltr diesel , sun roof eleky windows . Got my new door handle today ( £5 ) for the o/s/r off a metro as the guy told me they fit and it dose , as i said the n/s/f door is in a bad way ( lots of filler at the mo ) will weld a new lower skin in when ive got the vans body work sorted , plus l am working on my custom motor bike and my sons Clio , ( baby on the way too ) so the door will get done but not this month or next ! may lower the old girl an tips as ive only lowered a Cortina speak to you all soon . she was not my first choice on e bay but *** no one wanted her l got her cheap , had she been an Escort i bet she would have been more £££,s .... Stu

nice looking maestro stu and nice tin have you with us and you got a much better buy than an escort mate beleive me that diesel under the lid is the best on the road
