Sorry for all of the questions!!
I've been looking around on the internet for answers, only they don't like giving me them (hence I joined here haha)
What is the PCD of the Montego (in mm if you know it), and what other cars have the same does anyone know?
Sorry again!
Cheers

I *think* it's 96mm. Not many cars other than some other Rovers like the MGF have the same PCD.

95mmx4 PCD for all Maestro and Montego, except the vans which had 100mmx4 PCD.
95mm PCD is an odd size but shared with, amongst other things, Triumph TR7's and MGF/TF's. 100's are common across the modern MG Rover range.

Marinas/Itals had a similar PCD. Also Heralds/Vitesses/Spitfires. My first Maestro got some wheels that had previously been on an Ital.

I'm pretty sure the actual PCD is three and three-quarters inches, but it is nowadays more often expressed as a very odd-looking measurement in millimetres.

That's correct, we have imperial wheels which also have the same PCD as a Maxi, Allegro, Marina, Princess, Dolomite, 11/1300 and so on. In actual fact, the measurement is 95.25mm's PCD (3.75 x 25.4)

I think you'll find 1100, 1300, Allegro and Maxi were four and a quarter inches PCD. Minis, Minors, A35, A40, Midget, Sprite and early Metro (I think) were four inches. All very confusing! So much easier now that most makes use 100mm.

That another reason why I gave up on the Monty, every now and then a tyre had to be replaced, new tyres $300, 2nd hand tyres $100(when available), I tried to replace wheels with imperial size but the choice in NZ is some what limited. New imperial tyres can be brought for well under $100

You poor soul, you must have had those dreadful TD wheels. Some Montys did have them, and the tyres were much dearer. Most, thankfully, had normal 13, 14 or 15-inch wheels, and tyres are dead easy and cheap to get.
On re-reading a contribution above I see an assertion that vans had 100mm PCD. I had one with the same PCD as an 820, four and a quarter again, if I remember rightly, won't swear to it, but definitely bigger than 100mm. Possibly not all vans were the same?
