I'm going a little dolally trying to figure this one out.

My rear washer tube is currently disconnected (has been since I got the car). It currently runs from the rear windscreen washer, up the inside of the right side of the boot door, and appears by the hidge where there is a rubber ring holding it in place as it enters the roof of the car. From there I have no idea where the tube is meant to go, as it simply stops!

When I press the rearwindscreen wash button, after a short delay water can be seen coming out of the rear right wheel arch - therefore the water must be getting somewhere around the rear right side of the car at least!

So what route should the tube take, and where would I expect to find this illusive other end!

Thanks,

--Coops (just waiting for my new head gasket to arrive before I start doing some proper work on the car!).

Not sure but I think it follows the roof line and drops down the "A" pillar

If you open the hatch, remove the plastic strip holding the headlining and then ease the headlining down a little on the right hand side you should see a union where the tube comes up from the hatch itself. This sometimes comes adrift in the roof area above the headlining hence the pool of water around the rear wheel arch. You can feel around for the pipe and then reconnect it.

110% correct. It'll be the join between the tube abd connector that has come apart. Just cut the end off the tue, immerse it in a cup of hot water from the kettle to soften it and push the end back on They used a connector because of the fitting sequence at Cowley, the washer tube went in befire the tailgate was fitted.
