RDGelder and I have come up with the idea of entering some M Cars for next years Heaton Park Transport Show. I am not sure myself on how to enter, but I hope Rich can posts us the details....

Anyone interested?

Oh, Rite!

Well, The event is organised by the 'Museum Of Transport' in Manchester and is held in the park on the first sunday of September every year.

Its mostly old Buses and Trucks - but there is always a section of the field for Classic Cars (Both British & American). An Application form is available to download from the web.

Its a fun day out, and the weather is usualy warm and sunny and there are even a couple of stalls that have a few unusual car related items for sale.

This year there were quite a few Granada's and Cortina's so both myself and Steve thaught "Why not Maestro's and Montego's?"

Not sure if anyone may be interested or not - but there's another year until the next one...

:)

Where would that be then?

Yes, GGT will be attending next years Heaton Park Transport Show, so there's the chance to finally see it in the metal! :)

The website is currently not working. I am sure we can get applications nearer the time from the actual Meuseum.

do we all need a application form or just one from the club?

Count me in.

Possible venue for what looks like becoming regular meets for 'Members from the North'? It's normally a good show, and if memory serves there are vintage buses and trams that you can actually travel round the Park on... Also easy to get to, and a very nice PArk as such places go.:)

I shall get down to the meuseum some time and investigate how we need to book. IE: As a Group or Individually.

I would suggest the best bet would be to contact Zoe, our club events coordinator.

Dave.

Should I do this, or do you want to RDGelder?
