Obviously an issue that hasnt been made public, or maybe its because people dont listen to what you say? Anyway, sorry to see you go.

We'll be sorry to see you go Steve - I thought things had been sorted out

You seem to be having trouble making your mind up too, Gareth.

And you wonder why? Maybe it's because i can answer question's other cannot. Hate to see people with problem's that can be resolved if i know the answer. That's the only reason i'm here, you don't have to tell me i'm hated, i know that

I'ts a fact of life that some people are offended by the actions of others, it can't be helped. As is that you can't expect to get along with everybody you talk to, there are going to be the odd occasional person or two who get up your nose. It's just the way the cookie crumbles. Every time I go out of the front door I learn that someone new has spread a rumour about our family (always completely unfounded, but nevertheless irritating). It's been going on now for 16 years, since I was 4 or 5, and ive always been conscious of it, and who started them, but it has never bothered me, not once. The latest one was that I am currently living in the bus shelter up the road cos mum threw me out. Absolute blatant nonsense, if ever I heard it. Living in a small village like this you quickly learn that there is no point of giving people the time of day if they have annoyed you, let alone retalliating, cos it will get you nowhere except deeper into a petty pit of depression. Life is far too short for depression in general in my opinion, let alone pettiness, or any other negative actions. As mum always said to me and my brother, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".

Can't we just all get along? :)

I don't see why we can't all get along. The vast majority of people manage it...

And yes, life is too short!!!

Nothing could be more true. I get the impression we do all get along in general on these forums, but one or two members seem to have convinced themselves otherwise. Ah well

I for 1 was pleased to see GK hadnt actually left, his posts are always informative,

arguments are best left to them that stand on street corners with bottles of white lightning eyeing up vauxhall corsas with daft bodykits on them its a shame people have to keep on with them when others want to forget.

Exactly a technical forum is just that and anyone who doesn't talk rubbish and can help people or has a genuine question is welcome.

The one thing that we all have in common of course is the cars that we love which have united us into a kind of a community. As we know, people within any community can fall out, that's all part of human nature I guess. There are people on here who have a lot of experience and can speak knowledgeably as a result, and other people who have less experience and seek advice. We all have different posting styles, and we are all individuals. I think it's a great forum and, damn me, it can get habit-forming which is why people are reluctant to leave. Differences of oppinion, petty squabbles, issues, pre-concieved ideas.....forget 'em. Let's concentrate on preserving, promoting, developing, enjoying and driving our Maestro's and Montego's and everything that goes with them. That's what they were meant for, after all isn't it?
