compression test

I’ve just done a compression test on my s series engine and realised after I’d packed everything away that I forgot to do the test with the throttle open.

I’ll have to have another go tomorrow but out of interest would having the throttle closed make the readings appear better or worse?

they would be worse as you need to open the throttle to get the maximum air into it you see,you have to do it with a warm engine as well hope this helps.:)
