There were some strange noise coming from the engine today. I think its a blowing exhaust a popping a certain revs and increase in loudness from engine. I put hand iver exhaust to stall car and could here hissing from somewhere. Whilst doing this I looked down the oil filler tube with the torch to see if any oil was being pumped round the rocker. Didnt look like much to me. Anyone know how much I should expect to see. Also do I need to flush the engine oil with STP or take rocker off and and poke holes with some wire
Any help appreciated

Hi, when you look into the rocker cover, everthing should be just wet with oil, you dont really expect to see much at all at idle. Sounds normal to me.
