brake dust

I use my maestro VDP as a main car, so its normal for me to notch up something along the lines of 15 - 20 thousand a year. But.. lately ive noticed more brae dust being evident from the front wheels when ive washed it. It seems a hell of a lot to be honest, and more than usual.. and no, i havnt been braking hard! :-)

Just wondered if this was normal, or if there was something i should be investigating. I fitted new pads about 5 months ago and the brakes are perfect in my mind.

When ever I've washed the car there always seems to be a huge amount of break dust appearing from the front. This has always happened though, on the previous maestro aswell and I haven't noticed any problems, breaks work fine. I think this is normal.
