I've seen a Maestro advertised in the local paper, all it says it's that its a 'B' reg, 37,230 miles, 12 months MOT and 2 months tax and that it's in 'superb condition'. £250 no offers.
I was thinking of another Austin Rover car to aquire while I take the DLX off the road for some much needed cosmetic attention, and then keep said car for showing.
I've rang the number but no answer:(
It sounds a real nice car, really wanted to ring out what spec it is before hand.
Any thoughts anybody?
Cheers,
Dean.

Sounds to me like it was owned by a little old lady to go shopping in.
Obviously maintained by a garage, so I would say it's definately worth a look.:D

definatly worth a look. I answered an add for spares or repairs maestro 100 quid.. picked it up yesterday and I don't think I've got the heart to strip it down for parts. It would easily get thought the next couple of MOT's.

Been phoning the numbers in the advert and no answer!!!
Spotted another car on Autotrader, it's another DLX, same colour as mine 'L' reg and lower miles than mine, 78K, as mine is approaching 142K. Was hoping it was a TD but it wasn't:(
I'll keep trying ringing, it sounds a good car and i'll keep you all posted.
Cheers
Dean.

I wouldn't worry about your diesel reaching 140k ours has 200k on it, still starts first time doesn't smoke much and goes well, and that had a hard life as a builders van before we got it.
