Tickford Boot spoiler for Montego For Sale

I May be selling this soon. as I am thinking about changing to a differant type. Currently it is fitted to my monty 1.6L. it's the 3 leg one with the arms down the side of the boot lid. In Targer red and in very,very good condtion. I'll be asking for no less then £30 for it and the buyer must collect if outside London due to high postage costs and possable damage in transit.

Will you be able to remove your spoiler easily - most of the ones I have seen the screws that hold the spoiler are rusted solid under the bootlid, especially the two down each side of the bootlid (plus it's stuck on as well there)?
What are you changing it to - a completely different spoiler or back to a standard Montego one? I have an immaculate standard MG Montego one, paint is superb but trouble is it is white.

Yes It should come of quite easy as I fitted it myself. I'm going back to my Pug 406 spoiler and my OEM boot lid. I'm board of the Tickford one now. But It don't look like anyone is interested in the spoiler though, i've had no response to this thread, well apart from you that is. LOL

Terry, depending on what my monty turbo is like(collecting tomorow), I would be very interested in the W+P spoiler.

Where abouts in North London are you, and how could we get it up to me, besides me collecting?.

Well the main reason for it being 'buyer collects' is because it's going to cost about the same to post it out as what i'm selling it for and I won't make any money on it doing it that way. I could have put a higer sale price on it, but then nobody would buy it. It will have to sit in my gararge (when I finaly take it of) untill a buyer can collect it. I don't know anybody who travels to your aera.

It has just come to me that you can have the boot lid the as well if you need\want it. It's an OEM MG Turbo one and is rust free. The only thing you won't get is the reflective red panal.I'm using that on my boot lid.

Ok thats great. I would like cash please. Re the boot lid, it's gone a bit funny from where the spoiler was fited, by the that I mean the paint has gone a funny colour from where the spoiler was sat on it!. If your going to use it with the spoiler (in which case, there wasn't much point in me taking the spoiler off. LOL) thats fine but other wise it will need spraying. Note: the red reflective panal is not included with the boot lid.
