How many MG Maestros?

Approximately how many 2.0 efi MG Maestro's were built between 1985 and 1992? and approximately how many are left now?, does anyone know this? :rolleyes:

I think the total amount of 2.0's built was 27,880.

How many are left now is anybodies guess!

According to the MGCC's FWD Register website (goto http://www.mgcars.org.uk/carclub/fwdregister/fwdregister.htm and look under "ABOUT FWD CARS") there were 32,725 'O'-series cars (i.e.: EFi/2.0i).

Only the DVLA will be able to tell you how many are still on the road, but you can't pry that sort of information out of them for love nor money.

Quite why the DVLA can't at least offer a statistics' service for enthusiasts' clubs is beyond me. It need not breach any security regulations.
