It is with regret that I've had to temporarily suspend the classifieds service to new adverts again. This is not so much a result of the well documented problem of hoax emails (about which a warning is clearly displayed on the 'submit new advert page') but repeated and deliberate misuse of that service by one or more individuals in a manner that does not comply with the terms under which adverts may be posted.
On any occasion I consider that the classifieds are being abused it'll become unavailable for a progressively longer period of time. I hope that we won't eventually have to withdraw this helpful service completely but if it's not going to be used for what it was intended then that's what will happen because I don't have the time to vet every advert posted.
My apologies to the majority of genuine users who will be inconvenienced as a result of this.
