Dear All
I have a 1987 Maestro Special I have a tow bar already fitted but without the electrics connected up. Does anyone know how to do this please. Thanks

hey mate , welcome to the forums..
personally , id take a power from the feed to the light , put it to the plug.. then link it back in.. but i dont know how its really done :worried:

Pin 1 LH Indicator ,yellow
Pin 2 Fog Light ,blue
Pin 3 Earth,white
pin 4 RH Indicator ,green
Pin 5 RH Tail,brown (i think)
Pin 6 Stop/Brake,red
Pin 7 LH Tail black

If memory serves, the pins are numbered inside the 'socket' that mounts on the towing bracket, the wires' colours should reassure you what the numbers are ;) .
If you've an Owners' Handbook for your car, there will be an explanation of which wires you want to tap into in the boot to supply the towbar socket.
