well we r home, and all exhausted!
it was great to finally meet some of you guys, and a good place to go too!
despite the fact we got lost in oxford(again!), we still had a great time, and it was nice to know we weren't the only ones to get lost!
it took us 3 hours (more or less) to get there, and an hour to get home(!) (after i rang my cousins hubby and asked him the best way home.)
so thanx all those who we met, bandycat is a lot happier now he's had a chat with you face to face.
(will post piccies later, when he gets back from pub.)

Yep, it was good to go to such a meet other than van shows and to put faces to names.

Yes nice to see a few more of you. How about this for getting lost... took one exit early from the M4 and ended up going back via A4, Newbury, A34, A303, Andover, M3, Basingstoke, Alton & Farnham. Quite a detour, take a look at a map  I just tend to head roughly in the right direction and if it's wrong then too bad.

Sorry I couldn't make it :(
I was outvoted on the choice of events after the lure of Gerry Marshall driving Baby Bertha at Brands Hatch proved too tempting.
I'll try harder next time, and hopefully there won't be any clashes with other events!
Glad you all had a good time - piccies please?

morning!
have you sorted those leccy curtains for your van yet????
also i meant to ask what your avatar was?? :D

My Avatar is the cover for the Future Sound of London album, "Lifeforms". Not to everyone's taste, but I find their music is much more innovative than what's in the charts these days.

Brilliant!
You know I was wandering wether or not to have the image airbrushed onto one of the back doors.:D

Yes, I was discussing the back doors with Bandycat at the show. I was thinking of welding the doors together to form a side-opening tailgate, and then using the hinges on the other side, to mount some sort of mounting bracket for the spare wheel, 4x4 style.

We were discussing someone thing like that ages ok, and were wondering if the door on a land rover discovery would fit the van. Still yet to find out. Could have a hatch then if it did.

I had a great day yesterday as well, really good company too - nice to put names to faces:) Unlike you lot, I decided to gamble on a short cut on the way home and shaved about 15 mins off the journey...wicked!! Normally I get hopelessly lost too.
