Just been for 3 new tyres, and noticed the entire drivers side suspension/ARB etc. is covered in oil. The side of the engine, the sump, and a few other bits are plastered! It's most embarrasing to sit there and watch the drips.. :banghead:
My first question-how awkward a job is replacing this blasted thing? I'm guessing it's a cambelt off job-this was replaced not so long back..can I scrub and re-use it?
What sort of cost would I be looking at, do you think?
My second query is: I looked at the drivers side steering rack, and halfway along the arm I saw a spring clip. Now, i'm guessing this belongs on the end of the rack gaiter on that side, yes? Since it's been off for a while-should I be injecting some oil or something into the rack before refitting it?
It's a PAS rack if it helps.
Many thanks!
