The petrol filler pipe and associated breather pipe on my daily use Austin Maestro L 1.3 "F" reg (1989) are literally crumbling away. I discovered that the top of the pipes were covered in damp sticky muck from the spray off the wheel. This must have been there for years and when I tried removing it corrosion from the pipe came with it. When I have been filling up recently a little petrol leaks out onto the forecourt. I have found 2 small holes in the filler pipe and one in the breather pipe. Working on the basis that if petrol can get out water can get in I have blocked the holes with silicon sealer temporarily.
THE IMPORTANT QUESTION IS: Where can I get the replacement pipes?
Despite claims to the contrary Rover/Caterpillar cannot supply, comes up as obsolete on their system, nor can the two parts suppliers listed on this site. I have been to every scrapyard in Bury, none had any Maestros in and any scrappers probably have the same problem.

Many Thanks, Steve

They fitted various engines to maestro's, give us a clue? I assume 1.3?
