Re-fitting MK III dash

Could anyone tell me how exactly the left and right knobs attach to the red & green cables (looped ends) from the back of the dash control panel? I couldn't see them as the dash came out! :banghead:

It's alright now - I undid the heater controls when I had had no need to do so. You live and learn with these things. Still, if in the future I wanted to equip an old car with the newer dash I'd now know how to go about it!
