Shame there aren't any better pictures to go with it. The 1300 is a rare car, and this looks to be one of the last too, being an 87/88 car. Its got to be worth £35.00 to someone with a view to getting it back on the road. It doesn't look too bad.

It's finished in "Instant-Fade" Lipari Blue. That shade needs constant polishing to maintain its appearance, otherwise it goes milky/chalky giving the impression of it being different colours.

The top half of the rear door and the wheelarch have been painted in the wrong shade.

That would explain it, i wondered if it had had some repairs and had been finished off in a slightly different shade.. Shame its gone like that because it looks pretty solid. But if it could be polished up, it'd look quite presentable.

I wouldn't worry about the paint colour too much as long as it is nice and solid. My own 1.3 is about eight shades of Eclipse Blue from a couple of repairs, but I don't have any rust in my doors/boot/bonnet/etc, so the different colours on that one doesn't mean its a duff car.

Agreed and don`t forget if it`s been stored inside a garage or whatever for the last few years at least it`s been kept out of the way from paint fading UV rays from the sun not no mention the elements and idiots who kick footballs against it and open car doors/push shopping trolleys against it.
