Good news: Manifold gasket is finally sorted on A615 NFV!

Bad news: Tappets. The nuts on all of them are WAY TOO TIGHT than they should be. Especially for something that is kept well oiled!
If the nuts were eventually undone, my dad had to use heavy tools (inventing his own at one stage) to even turn the screws!
Two nuts just wouldn't undo, and on another - part of the head of the screw snapped off. :banghead: :rage:
So I'm not best please with this - what should hve taken half an hour took two and a half hours eventually... :(
Another thing, I can't find the mixture screw on the carburettor... :banghead: :rage:

Grrrrr...... http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/mad2.gifhttp://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/mad2.gif

You did undo the locknuts first didn't you?

If it is beyond repair just get a scrap head as they don't wear much on the a-series
