Those flames don't actually look as bad as I first imagined when you told me about them, (I can't believe I actually just said that!). The lights, well you know what I think of them. You could at least move them to under the bumper but I suppose you get marks for originality.

I didn't say it looked good, just that it isn't quite as bad as I thought it would be when he told me what he was going to do to it!

Not been funny or out grayham but the money you have spent (in some people's mind wasted) on theys 2 maestros you could have a rust free maestro with a profesinal metalic spray job in 15" mgf alloys. silly zorts foglights and spray cans dont go with maestros. Fair your young like me we all mod our cars but thers diffrent ways to do it. You mite not have much money but if ya save up for a evo kit professinaly fitted and sprayed you will not be laughft at by people your age even if older people still dont agree with it theres no point any mote wasting a few quid here and there on it. Am gunna be trufull here and I no its youre desision but I think it looks pure :censored:

Its growing on me (Like Fungus),.. Not much though ..
I will have nightmares that my Turbo will have flames on the bonnet when I wake up
I think Red flames would have looked better ? Maybe some down the side too ?
Or how about a gallon of unleaded and some real flames ?

Well you've topped even your previous abominations there Graham.

The saga of this car is like watching a terrorists' video where everytime we get an update they've inflicted yet another inhumane attrocity to their helpless screaming victim.

To continue with the analogy, this once-splendour car must now be at the point where it's pleading for its life, for the abuse to stop, or more likely praying for a swift painless death to bring an end to the incessent turture to which it is repeatedly subjected.

Hmmm...Now that does look interesting, Graham!

I do think I prefer the metallic blue scheme you were working on last time. Those flames possibly wont look that bad if you left the rest of the car relatively standard. Please don't go for all the usual 'chav' additions such as Neon’s, chrome windscreen wiper spoilers which really will give us cause to put it on Barry Boys!

You could end up with a very individual looking car there if you actually see this particular chapter through and finally finish it! Just don't go and waste it and attach the entire Halfords 'bargain basement' range.

I can't knock you for what you are trying. It’s certainly different.

Please do something about those front spotlights - they look like Mickey Mouse ears. Square spot lamps are much more complementary to the Maestro design I think.

With the chrome mesh and the flames it looks amazing, just like my barbecue.

Like the juxtaposition of the MOT sticker the flames and the spots, working from the top it's the Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Have you considered welding up the doors and using the windows in a Dukes of Hazzard manner?

if your BBQ looks that good , then you really havent had a good summer .

Rear doors are welded up ... that long word begining in j means next to eachother....or insane.. and it is neither..

As for dukes of hazard , i have the horn on order just for you

Your having a laugh, right? Flames only suit certain cars and thats 70's hot rod's... This is far from it.

Yes. A perfect case example.

I've seen Graham's previous efforts at modifying, and even tried to advise on this most current car. All thats happened is that two more Maestro's have ended up being ruined
