Hi,
This is really a wanted plea (which i have already posted on the wanted/classified section) for the Gasket that fits between the (cast) cylinder block and the alloy adapter plate that the gearbox bolts up to, on a Montego/Maestro 2000cc Diesel.
This is the gasket that has a bead of silicone moulded into it.
I think that the petrol variant gasket maybe similar as the 2.0 Petrol and Diesel blocks are a similar casting and both share the "Honda" type 'box.
Has anyone on here got one (genuine/aftermarket) that they have never used/left over from a bottom end gasket set which they never got round to using?
If anyone can help and post i can send beer tokens-£ ! ;)
Thanks.

I think if you have a look on th elandy prima forum there is a thread and some part numbers on there. It seems a lot of people just use gasket paper or even rtv to replace it. Might be worth a gander over there as I think they are on about the same gasket.
