2.0 clubman diesel, 100 quid

Hello all,

went down the scrapyard yesterday, saw a 2.0 clubman diesel there, perfect bodywork, 62 000 miles drives like a dream, head gasket seemed fine . . . .they were about to scrap it . . .squash it up and sell the metal . . .

Went up to the guy, who said he would take 100 quid for it . . i'm skint though . . .seems like such a waste . . .

Any of you lot interested????

Ever so slightly cheaper for a non turbo but mine was 800-1000 quid when I was 17. Turbo diesels are 81bhp but non-turbos are sixty odd bhp I think.

PS: 1.3s are 69bhp and 1.6s are 86bhp.
