Is there a way of contacting other members that use the forum?
If people post a topic they don't usually leave their e-mail address, but as we are asked to provide this when registering i was wondering if there was a "list" that has everybody's Username/e-mail address on? This would able us to contact people directly.
Thanks BIGLAD.

This new setup has a 'private mail' facility that I have been contacted on, but don't know HOW it works. I'd guess that when one goes on the 'Member List' at the top of the page there are emails sent, I'll send you one saying 'this is a test' in a couple of minutes. When you get to the 'Forum Home' page, there is a field for 'Private Messages' that says how many you have at that particular moment in time. Stand by for a message...

It may sometimes be quicker/more convenient not to have to go via the members' list, in which case you just click on someone's name where it appears in that familiar blue colour anyway in the forum and it takes you to their profile, where there will be a link to allow you to send them a private message or an e-mail (just under the field which tells you their last post), as you have no doubt already discovered.

Hope this helps,

Peter

Another hint to remeber with the Personal Messaging System is to keep your inbox cleaned out. There is a limited number of messages that can be stored and once it is full, no more messgaes can be received.

Doesn't take many messages, does it? I'm clearing mine now.
