Currently The Police's Greatest Hits, previously Roxette for some warm weather cheer, and Red Hot Chili Peppers: By The Way prior to that.

I can appreciate most music except opera! My favourite driving album to listen to at the moment is Leftism by Leftfield (the Pink Floyd of the nineties!).

Do you have their second album, Rythm and Stealth? Good to have "Afrika shox" on at full tilt when charging down the motorway!

Drove to work listening to Pete Brown and Piblokto's fine 1971 recording entited 'Things May Come And Things May Go But The Art School Dance Goes On Forever' (http://www.manband-archive.com/discography/disc_covers/art_school_dance.jpg) this morning.
I might move onto the Longpigs later on at lunchtime and then round the day off with a little Floyd I would think, obviously stopping and tuning to Radio 4 for the comedy at 6:30.

Yes, I've got that also...works on the subs a treat! For chillin' out 'Chant of a poor man' is good as well. Leftfield are no longer producing such albums I don't think - Leftism was 1995 & R&S 1999 but remixed in 2000. There were doubts that such a good album as 'Leftism' could be bettered. I liked R&S but it was Leftism that really changed my view on music as a whole. When I first heard the album a few years back I was remarkably impressed. R&S on the other hand has a slightly darker but overly repetitive mood to it but it really does sound futuristic. I'll shut up now:)

On the radio its Vibe FM 105-108, www.vibefm.co.uk, although in Bournemouth I listened to FIRE 107.6, www.fire1076.com, that was really good. On the CD 10 disc [I]multichanger{/I] it's just dance music compilations, or CDR's but no HIP HOP. I do have some "Best of the 80's" CD's that really suit the car well. I don't play it loud either. Although I don't use the cassette player any more really apart from the occasional story tape for Alex, my little boy.
