F170 GGT is as you all know is my rust free pride and joy I bought earlier this year.
However I have today acquired an Oporto Red 1984 A reg Austin Maestro 1.3L which has one really rusty arch and a few bubbles elsewhere.
I have both these cars, but one garage. So, which one is to go in the garage...???

P.S: I only have one stoplock.

Keep the A reg outside under a waterproof cover I'd say.

Ok. GG is still in the garage, and "Arnold" (I'm still thinking of a name) is in front of it on the driveway with the stoplock on it. I think that's how it's going to stay too.

I'd say keep GGT in the garage ;) you look as if you have put a lot of time and effort into it.It would be a shame to leave it exposed to the elements whilst working on your new project.Good idea on the waterproof car cover tho'

Whichever one you keep outside, prepare it first. Waxoyl all the doors and put it on ramps and do the same for the underside. Pah, do it all and then put a lose-fitting cover on it but make sure it's open at the bottom if possible, that way you'll minimise condensation and it won't rot too much.

Can of waxoyl: 15 pounds
Pair of ramps: 30 pounds
Paintbrush: 50p
Knowing that your Maestro won't rust in the near future: Priceless.

There are somethings you can't buy, but for everything else there's MONEY!

We've just spent 3 hours moving stuff around so that they both fit in our garage.. It is a rather tight squeeze

you could always dig a big hole in the garage floor and make an underground/two storey car park!?!
