i was enjoying the rain earlia.. washing kkw in it.. chargine the battery , while my dad poped out to get me a can of fuel as it was reading empty.. and it had cut out before..

Im 100% sure its because i ran it dry of fuel.. but need a the "how to start" the car in bullet points , as she doesnt want to

Its been suggested that i may have got some rubbish out the tank in my system.. so ill turn it over for a bit aswell .. ??

i really just need the proper starting method please.

it did fire and splutter 3 times.. but just turns over and tries to fire now..

thanks in advance

Hi, give this a try, unscrew the black plastic dash pot damper and use it to carefully lift the carburetter piston whilst someone tries starting the engne.

Be carefull not to bend the damper rod, and once the engine is running smooth and reliable top up the oil in the damper and refit the rod.

Cheers Gary :)
