hi all.
i want to fit a towbar to my ledbury maestro (metal bumper).
can anyone tell me where i need to fix it to and what parts i need. ive got the towbar itself, 2x long metal brackets with two bends in them and 3 holes in each.
help appreciated
I've got a witter tow bar on my diesel clubman (metal bumper). It goes from the tow hook in an S shape under the spare wheel section.
If you're struggling let me know and I can take some photos of how it fits (I've not studied it closely myself).

Ok beware the horrid rusty pics below!
There are 3 main pieces to my towbar.
The first is a piece of metal about 15 inches long with 4 holes in it (not shown in the pics but in the back view of the car you can see the 4 bolt holes) that is fitted to the inside of the rear panel of the car.
The second is an dogleg shaped bit of metal that goes from the outside back panel of the car to the towball
The third is the large bit of metal that meets with the dog leg shaped bit and then disappears under the wheel well.
Hopefully the photos explain better than I do. The bolts into the rear wheel well I've arrowed to make them easier to see and from memory there are very large washers on the inside of the car to help spread the load (as there are on the flat section that is on the rear panel too).
There are a number of different tow bar designs so this might not apply to you.
