Right, now i've hopefully got some people's attention, here's the crack (or craic if you prefer)
My good mate at Concept Autosport in my local hometown and I have started trying to make moulds for some NEW custom sideskirts - similar to the EVO sideskirts, only a little tiny bit more extreme and chunky, but we are just wondering how much interest there is in them - the more who are interested, the cheaper the price!
The fibreglass bits will be made & finshed by hand (perhaps with power-sanding) with fibreglass matting, rather than chopped strand from a spray-gun, with the intention of them being well made and strong.
So basicly, there are three possible sets of sideskirts we're trying to do at the moment, which will be test fitted to my car prior to finishing to ensure they do at least fit one maestro.
These are:
EVO Sideskirts
Extreme Sideskirts (pics available hopefully soon)
Turbo sideskirts (depending on demand)
Additionally, in the near future, hopefully we are going to have new designs of rear bumper, again, more extreme than the EVO/Turbo bumpers, but hopefully suiting the car better, and additionally i have plans to try and get him to help me produce the following items reproduced in fibreglass.
Bonnet.
EVO Bonnet (COMPLETE fibreglass, no bonding with old bonnet)
Extreme Bonnet (currently being designed - some time off)
Tailgate (some time off)
Front Wings. (some time off)
Extreme Front Wings (currently being designed, some time off).
So, that's all i wish to write for now, obviously there may be problems getting these fibreglass parts delivered to people, but once my car is on the road, i may be able to deliver the odd one here and there for the cost of fuel, which if i can arrange to do them all in one journey will work out cheaper, alternatively collection will be the definite easiest way to obtain them, and fitting is a possibility (well it should be easy enough!)
So if anyone has any questions or suggestion, or queries regarding price (which isnt known yet) then if you could PM me in the first instance, or respond to this thread, then that would be great.
Incidentally, does anyone know where the EVO bodykit moulds are?
I'm sure i've encountered this info before, but i've forgotten.
