How is the best way.. i did it ok on the picture below on the front 1/4 panel .. but do not fancy running a wire brush on a drill all the way along my doors...

Check my side repeater re-location :)

By the way , the front pannels are not actually attatched. explaines the fitment

Hair dryer or gentle use of a heat gun to soften the adhesive works fine. Shame to lose the stickers though!

So long as they haven't been lacquered over then yes it should still apply to pretty much everything "stuck" to bodywork such as rubbing strips, decals, stripes etc etc. If they've been lacquered over then getting them off means removing most of the paint too :(

If there is some sticky residue left after removal with a hair dryer it will come off with some BBQ lighter fluid and this should not affect your paintwork (but wipe over with a damp cloth afterwards to be sure).

Their is an easy way of doing this boil a kettle of water then pour it over your sticker/s and pick at a corner while still slowly pouring boiling water on it and it comes straight off just dont burn yourself. As for getting rid of the sticky glue.Use autoglym intensive tar remover i sell loads of this 2 people at work for this reason pour it on and a bit of elbow grease and job done its safe for all paintwork just wash the panel afterwards as it leaveas a slight film..
