But doesnt start Untill the .. Button.. / immobilieser Is Pressed...
From memory i have One lead off My negative on my coil.
And Two Going On... One Will be Igniction ?
Will it be the case of starting the car , pulling one of these off to see which will be the right one to put the button in the wiring.. ?
or have i got the wrong idea..
If this turns out to hard ill put a switch that has to be put "down" while the egines running and "Up" When you turn it off.. ??
if you get me??
Any help would be appreciated.
And i hope u can make sence of this all..
Thanks ,

Do you mean like a hidden D.I.Y Immobiliser, so you can disable your car making it so it won't start until you press a hidden switch?

You've got the right idea, yes, Graham  , it's one of the black-with-white-tracer wires off the coil negative terminal you are after, just see which one stops the engine when disconnected. That wire will be the one you want to extend into the passenger compartment and put a hidden switch in.
I'm impressed you've sussed it's the negative side of the coil you want to use to interrupt the ignition, that means that even if some undesirable hotwires the ignition (lead from battery positive to coil positive) it *still* won't start for them  !

Ok.. The Plan...
On the disconnection of one lead the engine Turns over , but doesnt fire. on the re-connection it starts .
If a push switch was to be put in , it would cut out , as it does when this particular lead is re-disconnected.
So. a hidden flick.. or mabey a very obvious one.. (no one is funa think are they !!) With on and off will alloy
In the on position : The engine to turn over and fire
In the off position : Turn over but not fire. should also cut the engine if flicked while the engine in running.
Also get my other two wheels done tomorrow

what complication......
for crying out loud, just put a switch in the white with black tracer wire and hide it in the car.
don't make it obvious cos if it wont start they'll probably work out what the really obvious switch is for.

To make it really hidden, why not add an extra heated rear window switch or simmiler to the exising dash switches and use that. This way it won't look out of place, and will be fitted in a location that looks like an original switch should be there, thus not arousing suspicion.

Back end of the centre console? Nobody would look there, but you would easily be able to feel for it... of course, if you had any passengers in you may get a nasty shock.

If you use a foglight switch, be sure to cover it up/make it unuseable when the car goes in for an MoT as otherwise an inquisitive Test Assistant may well manage to stop the engine and cause a lot of hassle! This has happened to Monty more than once, when the Assistant has tried to get the foglights working... Unfortunately for the Assistant he is the nephew of my mechanic and I believe a lot of mileage has been had from this particular error  .
I now cover the 'hidden cut off' switches (there are more than one and less than seven) with post-it notes when Monty goes in for an MoT or other mechanical work ;) . The switches are actually a lot more obvious than you wold think, but they aren't if you know what I mean? :p

Reminds me of Chris's racing Mini, which had a broken hazard switch. Everyone who sees the onboard footage wonders why there's a large post-it note reading "NO!!!" stuck to the dashboard
