I'm sure you must be able to but how'd you go about lowering a van (aside from filling the inside with concrete of course)
Anyone any bright ideas, the front shouldn't be a problem, the rear however.....

I've been pondering this question for quite a while now, what with my own renovation project. The only suggestions I could think of would be to either somehow straighten the leaf springs a bit, or fit spacers between the springs and axle. Someone did the ultimate lowering on another van by putting the axle above the springs, so I looked at doing this, but on a Maesty, they're already like this.

By far the easiest way is to get some thick plate, and drill it to make some spacers to go between the axle and sprint. Get some longer u-bolts, and bobs-your-uncle.
Of course to do it properly, you need stiffer springs and dampers to prevent the axle hitting the bump stop. Which will compromise ride quality.
