Right i just got round to fitting the UK spec headlights that were kindly donated to me by another forum member.

The problem i have is the side light fitting. The original side light fittings are like a round rubber seal with the bulb holder inside, The reflectors had a round hole that fitted in really easly.

Now the new headlights have a hexagonal fitting in the reflector. Now you can probably see the problem here, the rubber fitting that came with the new headlights and the original headlights wont fit in the hole and the bulb doesnt reach far enough down to iluminate the headlight properly not to mention just rattling around in the back of the headlight.

So what can i do? find some what i assume later headlight fittings? Or can i replace the reflector part of the headlight with the one from the left hand drive headlights? Or will these be different?

Also does anybody have some of the gromets that the bottom part of the headlights fit into? as mine are none exsistant and the headlight is very loose.

Thanks in advance!

Can you take a picture of the grommets? I bought loads for the club spares stock, may have been some of the ones your looking for I don't know?

Not to me it doesn't, unless I go outside and check (its a bit cold and late for that) Sure someone will know which one it is.
