Having had no previous experience of producing HTML coded pages, I thought I would have a play in Notepad this afternoon.
By 7 o' clock I had put the main parts together and got the pages uploaded onto the Internet.

It is, of course, all free. I have posted here though to ask for opinions on this new site, as I would like to know if it would be worth paying for it to be hosted ad/banner free.

So if you could, click here (http://maestro-special.tripod.com/) and post your opinions.

Cheers.

PS: A link to my current F170 website can be found in my signature.

The engine bay was dirty in that picture, yes. That one was take nearly 2 years ago - roughly a month or two after I bought the car!

Time for some new pics? :p

 That’s a good site, Steve. Great pics, must invest in one of those digital thingies sooner or later. Never thought I would ever read these terms in the same sentence, though: hairdresser; unsafe; blind-spot; foot down; blonde; Vitara; oblivious; inbred mutant. Can only be fictional, surely? Sorry, made the last one up. :)

Just a couple of questions:

The guy that did the restoration job must have invested a lot of time and effort, so why was he prepared to sell such a great example of the marque for just £50?

Does CGT ever get taken for a run whilst you are learning to drive? If not, have you considered renting it out to Graham's chavy brother? Thought not.

To answer your questions, the chap who did the work said he had just spent £60 on the car at the time - although I think it would have been a little more than that, as the car has brand new tyres all round! :) He would have asked £100 but wouldn't sell to the students in the area who were after it, hence a reduced price to an enthusiast. ;)

The car has been run on the odd weekend, it covered just 40 miles in between the two MOT's. I ran the engine today, until the cooling fan came on so now I know that works fine.

There ain't no way on Earth that I would rent my baby out to anyone's chavy bother! :shoot:

I like it, very informative and great pictures. My eyes went a bit funny at all the text in quite big blocks though
