Hello Again , i hope you can help before i start geting tools out....
We sat down a cruise just now(sunday night) watching cars go by ... Vrummmm and my interior light came on with no doors open .
I had no lights on at the time , all electrics off , just idleing . When we put the side lights on , it went out . Also when it was on , with no lights on and we opened the doors it got brighter .
Any Ideas?
Oh , we also got shed of the cruise award !!! :o

If you have the optional iterior delay relay in the fusebox try temporary removing it and see if it solves the problem if so that unit is probebly faullty.

Try giving all of you door switchs a good going over with WD 40, and if that doesn't help then you either have a completely duff door switch or a trapped/frayed switched earth wire for your interior light, or possibly another earh fault somewhere. (check the electrical connections on the bumper mounts on the inner wings).

I recently had the front bumper off to add new drive lights ,
and i think my brothers knocked it as a dent appeared in my new rear bumper! ... Which ones it more likely to be mounted to ?
Thanks In Advance

The main earth points are located on the front bumper mount, (look at the bolts retaining the bumper "poles" under the battery tray and on the same place on the other side. There should be 2 wires connected to each side, if not (as in the case of my turbo) then you get all sorts of electrical weirdness going on.
Also try switching the interior light switch from on to off to on(door sensing) quite a few times as these switches often get crudded up from lack of use. I had to do that to mine this morning to get it to work properly.

the connections - not As Yet Checked.
there are no realys for just the buzzer , nor fuses as far as i am aware unless there is one built into the unit .
the side lights , dip , main and drive lights all work so there cant be anything wrong here.

If you are talking about your lights on warning buzzer (It makes a sound when you open the door but have left your lights on) then there is nothing wrong as your car did not come with one as part of the standard kit.

No.. I Fitted One . A few days later the interior light is staying on , unless the lights are on .. and it no longer works..

Not got the switch to the 'Always on' position have you?
Like I have said, you need to get the main problems sorted before you start adding these mods...
