This is just a minor gripe: Is it possible to decrease the minimum number of characters required when searching the forums?

I've used it twice in the past little while and only had 3 letter terms to search for! (tow bar and joe).

I would have thought that a minimum number of 3 characters would not return too many results..?

Of course it may be a foible of the forum software and therefore not be configurable, or you may have your own very good reasons for the current settings ;)

The minimum number of characters for a search isn't fixed, but the default setting of the software is 4 characters because it's pretty rare that a search for anything shorter is going to return a useful result.

I've reduced it to 3 charaters if it's going to be helpful. The only negative effect of doing this of course is that it swells the size of the search index quite a bit.
