OK, as per this thread (http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=2561), there is a ‘meet’ at Gaydon on Sunday 13th March 2005, organised by Keith Adams.

If asked, the Museum will put cars on show that are, at that time, not on show in the Museum but in storage elsewhere on the site. But unfortunately, we would have to pay for these cars to be shown (we were quoted £50 for each car, for when we visited before the Xmas Meal).

Notwithstanding the cost involved, for now, who would be interested in seeing, for example, the last Montego (it being the Montego's coming of age this year) or the LC10 prototype (assuming this is available) at this ‘meet’?

I'll kick off my stating my interest in the last Montego.

OK, I have culled from the other thread about this meet (http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=2561) the following names:

Definitely want one or more 'special cars' on show for us
Rich Smith (me)
Rich Gelder (Austin-Rover)
Montyboy

Unclear as to if want one or more 'special cars' on show for us
Steve Worsley (Maestro Special)
Dave

No other takers at the moment.

At this rate, it won't be economic to ask them to get extra cars out, so please let us know if you are interested - saying so isn't a definite commitment :) .

Thanks.

I'm keen to come, but not fussed about the last montego. Sorry, but £50 is a lot to see a car! I could buy one for that price on ebay!
