Must have missed this post! I have passed on the code to the club spares co-ordinator in the chance we may have one in stock.

I got my light OK from a Maestro racing outfit called Wayside Adhesives beleive it or not. However my drivers door handle that I bought second hand in November has snapped already in the cold snap. Does anyone have a replacement please? Id prefer the metal one even if Rover say they snap just as quickly?

If you are ever around the dartford area, Mr Rover/Austin had a tray full of plastic and metal handles for £5-10 (can't remember which). Those plastic ones really are rubbish though :(

Thanks everyone got my handle at last. The scrapper reminded me to grease the swivel thoroughly so I didnt have to go back so soon!

Another tip that may help is to open the door by pressing in the top rear of the handle in whilst lifting the bottom of the lever up. (this takes some of the slack out of the pivot mechanism and reduces the load slightly on the end of the latch that activates the door catch). Touch wood I've not broken one for years.
