Tyres

Ive decided I need to get some new tyres.

Does anyone know what make and model of tyre would have been fitted to a 1990 1.3 LX? when it was new?

any info would be greatly appreciated

Don't quote me on this, but i have a feeling they were champions, no idea what model.. but i bumped into a 1990 LX a few years back that was being dumped, and the owner said it stil had its orginal tyres, and they were definately champions... but he could have wrong!

Champion tyres? Thats a new one... More likely to have been Dunlop, Pirelli or Michelen.

I might be well off the ball but ours was shod with Pirelli (P4?) as standard but they also came with goodyears at some point too.

I know (well im prety sure) a 1990 diesel came with Goodyear GT70 tyres so I was suspecting maybe some other goodyear veriety.

Id really like to put as close as possible the original tyres back on.

If I cant find what they were im going for goodyear or michelin.
