Help!,

Seems my Monty's rear spring seats have started to crack and now the o/s one is allowing the strut to push thru! :censored:

Anybody know where i can get new ones?

Local dealer states that i have to buy the shocker as well!

May as well fit new top bush's at same time. :idea:

If any one know's where i can get these parts please let me know soonest as the estate is now off the road till i can get some!

We could possibly order you some at work tomorrow - but your a fair distance away , they wod either bewith us tomorrow or out next day , wednesday .

Does it have self levellers on the back? If so then they'll be horrendously expensive. If they are notmal ones then you can get them from any motorfactor relatively easily and cheaply.

local, factors all say "dealer part only".

Anybody know where i can get new ones? There are several sets of standard (ie. non self-levelling) ones on eBay at the moment.

Mal, exactly which bit is breaking up? The lower spring seat is an integral part of the damper unit, and the upper spring seat is an upside-down cup which is IIRC welded into the underside of the wheel arch. :worried:

Sorry about the late reply , ive only just logged in . .. and ive finished for they day . let me know if you still need /want them , i thuink geting u them could be a problem being a distance away

Hi guys, thanks for all the help and such. :)

parts i was after were the spring seat and respective bush.

Have managed to source the correct part no.s and will have them on thursday! :cool:

cant remember now which is which, but, part no.s are

NAM3957 £6.67 each(inc vat)
NAM1181 £7.79 each (inc vat)

I collected the parts today. Total was £28.92 (they price's they have charged me are at trade +vat)
so not too bad.

"Ermingtrude" will be back on the road tomorow!. :cool:
