Hi all, I dont know whether anyone can help me but im thinking of getting an MG ZR TD to complement my MG Maestro and take some of the pressure off it as I drive around 15,000 miles a year. Ive read on various other places that MG Rover do something called the Priviledge Discount Scheme for members of the various MG clubs. I just wondered if anyone on here knew anything about this scheme? e.g. How it works, do you go through the normal dealers, how much discount may be obtained etc...???

Members of MG Car Club, MG Car Club and subscribers to MG Enthusiast Magazine can get a similar discount to the Rover and BAE employees. You have to be a memeber of these clubs for at leaset 6 months and the discount varies depending on what you buy.

It ranges from 21% for top models like the MG TF160, MG ZT+ 160 and MG ZS180 saloon. This tranlates to a saving of over £3500. Unfortunately the MG ZR diesel only attracts a 5% discount as there is a smaller margin on thi smodel.

My local car supermarket has 5-door MG ZR diesels on 02-plates at £10,999 with two years warranty left on them.
