Will MontegoTD engine go in LDVSherpa 200?

My 1989 Leyland Daf 200 van has a 2ltr naturally aspirated prima diesel engine (v.similar to Maestro) that is now dead. The van was underpowered for towing a car on a trailer (main usage) so I'd like to put the Montego Turbo diesel in. I'm not sure if the extra stuff on the waterpump (timing cover end of the engine) will make the TD engine too long for the engine bay as it was already quite close to the radiator. Can any one advise me please?

I don't think there is any extra stuff. You won't fit the standard PAS pump though - it'd poke through the bulkhead.
