We all know that most maestros and montys have a spider or two living in their wingmirrors, but it seems my van has one living inside it.
That ordinarily wouldn't be a problem for me (it would for the missus however! :D), but the little b*gger keeps deciding to try and build his web in my car at night. The little sod climbs over my ultrasonic detectors and then sets the bloomin alarm off, (usually at 4am)
Can anyone think of anyway to catch the little begger or entice him to leave?

Have you read through the other couple of threads about this? May be some suggestions there.
Do you know where they 'hang out' during the day? They may be behind the headlining or the like. Evicting them with the hoover did the trick in my other Maestro.
Luckily I don't have any inside the MG (very surprised!) so my alarm sensors are safe. For now. ;) Still finding webs on the n/s/f mirror.

Let it build a web one night and then get a tuning fork (normally used for tuning musical instruments) and ring it then place the end of the fork gently on the web. The spider should come out and try to kill the fork! They go mad. It must be something to do with the frequency that flies buzz at. It does not work if you just tap the web with your finger.
I don't know if it makes a difference but the tuning fork I've got is an "A" note.
Even if you don't have any spider problems in the car it whiles away a few minutes doing it to cobwebs with spiders in the house.
You may get the same effect with something else that vibrates.... ;)
