Has anyone any experience of Forte, a diesel fuel 'conditioner'?
My diesel just about passed the emissions and the tester recommended it to improve emiisions.

I was told a couple of years ago to 'give it a good blast' i.e. rev high in third gear to clean out the system when my car was a bit smoky, however I don't know how worn yours is. Couple of years down the line with top quality oil I am running very low emissions indeed and was complimented for this by my local testers.

Never used any additives in mine, but go on M170's advice and use a top quality oil(i change mine+ filter every 6000 miles),then a good blow out from time 2 time:D

Agreed, as mentioned give it some revs in a low gear before taking it for the test. Also, someone recently told me to add some sunflower oil to the fuel before taking it for the test and that will reduce emmissions. Haven't tried it yet.
