Hey Guys
Just been to a wholesalers in chesterfield and to tesco to compare prices for food for the barbecue and breakfast.
If you want us to get the food let us know, Bev's come up with a plan, that we can feed you lot for £3 a head, using the figures from both the wholesalers and Tesco.
The wholesalers list of goodies that we would need for the perfect barbecue and breakfast is:
Bacon at £6.11 for 2.7kg (execellent quality and quantity)
Burgers at £8.85 for 4x48x4oz (loads of burgers then)
Sausages at £5.99 for 10lb (Chip shop sausages, Bevs regonises boxes from working in a chip shop)
Tray with Lids at £1.56 for 5 (To keep food hot for the lazy buggers who don't get up for breakfast and also somewhere to keep food til its ate)
UHT Milk Cartons at £2.29 for 100 (them ones that you get at hospitals)
Baked Beans at £1.29 for 2.7kg ( you know the big big can)
Burger Boxes at £3.89 for 50 (somewhere to put food in at breakfast better than paper plates and deeper too)
Bread cakes at £2.18 for 48 (From Tesco cos wholesaler didn't have any)
Hot Dog Buns at £1.40 for 24 (From Tesco again for same reason)
The goodies from Tesco are
Bacon at £8.78 for 1600g (Not as good quality and not as much bacon)
Sausages at £5.98 for 48 (These are walls barbecue flavoured ones, but way less sausages than wholesalers)
Bread cakes at £2.18 for 48 (From Tesco cos wholesaler didn't have any)
Hot Dog Buns at £1.40 for 24 (From Tesco again for same reason
Tray with Lids at £1.56 for 5 (To keep food hot for the lazy buggers who don't get up for breakfast and also somewhere to keep food til its ate)
UHT Milk Cartons at £2.29 for 100 (them ones that you get at hospitals)
Baked Beans at £1.29 for 2.7kg ( you know the big big can)
Burger Boxes at £3.89 for 50 (somewhere to put food in at breakfast better than paper plates and deeper too)
The last four items are from the wholesalers because believe me its cheaper.
If you work it out you will find that it'll be just a few pence more from Tesco, based on dividing this lot by 12, but we would get more food and better quality goods from the wholesalers.
What do you think?
£3 for as much as you want to eat from Wholesalers or £3 for a set amount of food from Tesco?
Let me know ASAP well by tomorrow morning and will sort it out if you want us to fetch food.
Cheers
