HELP !!

Went to start my Maestro stockcar to load up ready for racing on Saturday and it wouldn't start :banghead: . I'm getting fuel into the carb, but there isn't any spark at the plugs . I've tried changing the coil, spark leads, ECU & checked all the electrical connections but nothing seems to work . Was going to see if I could get another crank position sensor and try that next.

Does anyone have any ideas what to check next ????

Is there power to the coil? Coil takes power from a pinout on the ECU, it could be worth checking both. If there's power, then check the CPS.

Hi, Its fairly common for the wires in the CPS harness plug to break or pull out of the plug due to the tightrun of the harness in that area. worth peeling back the rubber boot to check.

Regards Gary :)

Think thats what might be the problem cause I snagged the harness when I was changing the steering rack :banghead:
