Further to posts elsewhere mentioning this, does anyone fancy meeting up on the 5th September to attend this event and come fly the flag for Maestro's an Montego's everywhere?

Last year saw lots of mid 80's Fords in attendance, and it would be a great event to raise awareness of our cars as accepted classics today. There are lots of attractions at this event, apart from the rally. Heaton Park is one of the largest in Europe with its own working Tramway, boating lake, zoo and Heaton Hall.

The event described by the organisers:
"Once again we hold our traditional rally at Heaton Park where you can see over two hundred vehicles of all types from the popular buses to the smaller groups of classic cars, motorcycles, trucks, vans, fire engines, and army trucks. The largest event of its kind held in the North of England, this is not to be missed! Enjoy the many attractions of Heaton Park too."

I have picked up a few application forms for anyone who would like to attend, and I can post them out to those interested.
