I've got a load of the little lamps that fit in the back of the unit, and I'm only just down the road from you in Cannock (for now, moving closer to Hednesford in the next few weeks). If you want any help or need anything then just pop round and I'll see what I can do.

On my Monty (1.6L) I had to run a lead from the Ignition Coil to the wire at the back of the Instrument Pack, cut the wire that feeds the Tachometer and connect the new lead to this wire. There appears to be a wire in the harness, but it doesn't work hence the extra wire is needed.

I can't remember exactly which wire you need to cut at the Dashboard end, but I seem to remember it's a Black wire with White tracer and is the fifth from the end of one of the connectors... I can take mine apart if you want but it will be this evening (I am at worh at the moment).

And you connect the other end of the lead, if memory serves, to the negative side of the coil. I can check that for you as well.

Let me know if you want me to check out what I did, send me a private message if you want.
